Scope of Responsibility
The Project Engineer supports the both the Superintendent and Project Manager. Helps monitor assigned projects and prepares field-related reports including submittals, RFI's and PCO's. Organizes and supports planning of activities such as field and OAC meetings, material deliveries and supports Superintendent in site planning and logistics. Participates in RFP response and estimating through scoping, estimating, procuring, and submittal preparation and tracking. Participates in the field reporting requirements as assigned, including daily reports, safety audits and project financials. As part of the field team, accountable to support overall project safety. The Midnight Sun Global Services Project Engineer is an active participant in the project safety effort, including attending internal and external safety audits, maintaining MSDS binder and OSHA 300 Log, and attending project safety meetings. Helps project team to ensure compliance with corporate safety policies and reports all potential hazards or unsafe practices to Superintendent and Project Manager.
The Project Engineer is a field support position but may be assigned multiple project and home office responsibilities. Position career track is to Superintendent or Assistant Project Manager. Advertised position is located in Seattle, Washington.0
