Find out more about us: .We are looking for a driven professional with strong technical skills to join the team as a Project Manager.The PositionProject Managers play a critical role in executing Axiom s strategy of delivering quality projects through market-focused teams. The primary role of the Project Manager is to OWN the success of the projects they lead. Project Managers serve as technical leaders for Axiom s key projects, acting as an experienced resource for other team members and ensuring projects meet Axiom s quality standards. The Project Manager s responsibilities are grouped into the following three categories:Project Execution ResponsibilitiesProject Financial ResponsibilitiesMarketing and Client Management ResponsibilitiesProject Execution Responsibilities:The Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of projects from planning through final completion. This includes managing team communication, determining project resourcing needs, assigning project tasks to Project Engineers and BIM Modelers, controlling and executing the project plan, ensuring safe and code compliant design, performing quality control, and following the Axiom Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure quality work outputs.Project Financial Responsibilities:Project Managers plays a critical role in ensuring our financial success at Axiom. The project financial responsibilities of the Project Manager include generating accurate estimates of project fees, managing project activities to budget, and recognizing and preventing scope creep.Marketing and Client Management Responsibilities:Project Managers are expected to assist in building client relationships and assuring that each project fulfills project goals, client expectations, and Axiom s Brand Promise.The Ideal CandidateEducationBachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering required, Master's preferredExperience5 years minimum of full-time work experience in building structural designP.E. license required, S.E. preferredExperience in mid-sized to large structural projects ($20M - $500M)Experience in fast-paced work environment that requires multitaskingExperience delegating tasks and working independently within a broader team Skills and AbilitiesTechnical expertise in at least one material and market typeHighly organized with great time managementEffective communicationAbility to delegate effectivelyKnack for creative problem solving and critical thinkingExceptional reasoning and judgmentAbility to meet project financial objectives by monitoring and taking necessary corrective actionAbility to build and nurture client loyalty Associated topics: administrator, consultant, custom, healthcare, manager, public, public works, scheduler, superintendent, supervisor
